In order to access the RIDE system, you need to be connected to the Ryder intranet. If you can access your Lotus Notes, either through the LAN (local area network) or through the IBM Global Dialer, you have access to the intranet.

Once you are connected, double-click on the Internet Explorer icon on your computer desktop to open your Internet Explorer browser. If you are prompted to connect to the internet, go through the process and select the "Current Configuration" option.

With the Internet Explorer window open, type RIDE in the address field.

Once you are on the RIDE site, click on the words "SIGN UP" and completely fill out the sign-up form. You will then be able to use the site immediately; however, you will not have access to all of the available reports for approximately one business day.
